Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been achieved on hardcourt
A revitalized Medvedev claimed his initial championship for over two years with success over Frenchman Moutet in the Almaty Open final.
The athlete, a ex- top-ranked player, has had a challenging season, achieving just one win at the major tournaments and undergoing a meltdown at the US Open.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his serve in specific - caused him dropping out of the world's top 10 and ultimately splitting with former coach Cervara.
Presently working with Thomas Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually advanced in the last few weeks - climaxing in a tightly fought three-set win over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
It is Medvedev's maiden title following the Rome competition and first on a hard court from spring of that year.
Victory also signifies Medvedev has achieved 21 victories at twenty-one distinct tournaments.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a event with my both daughters together, so to get a trophy is especially meaningful," commented tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my child her name, because the first title I got when my first daughter my daughter was born was for her."
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his past six title deciders, featuring in the German tournament previously this season.
The player's defensive play style and recurring outbursts on court had caused observers to question if his ability to play at the elite level was finished.
However the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the past month, striving to approach the net and play assertively, reinforced by an improved service.
Medvedev recovered from a disadvantage in the opening set against the difficult opponent, winning four of the concluding five games to go ahead.
The competitors swapped breaks in the middle set before the challenger, attempting for his initial professional title, seized the initiative to force a third set.
The opponent rescued 4 early-game break points in a tight third set before the Russian won the break to 15 to serve for the match.
Fittingly, the winner earned victory with a rally at the net, with his opponent failing to manage a volley after a lengthy match.
